A large real estate firm contacted us worried about their box drains sinking in the parking lot and freight loading areas of one of their commercial buildings. A box drain is a large concrete box a with a heavy grate on top that is buried under parking lots
.to collect storm water and drain it away to keep areas from flooding These box drains have culverts that penetrate the box to carry the water away Leaks often develop where the culvert enters the box. These leaks can be dangerous by forming sink holes in the areas around the boxes and cause the box to sink The leak pulls the dirt surrounding the box into the drain and washes it downstream. We drilled thru the box in the affected area and pump our resin behind the problem area to seal the leak. And also drilled thru the bottom of the drain box and pumped our expansive resin to lift and stabilize the drain box
